EOU ALERT Emergency Notification System
EOU winter weather: Monitor the EOU website, EOU email, Webster/Canvas, local broadcast radio or call EOU’s weather line at 541-962-3131 for closure or delayed opening notifications.
In the event of an emergency or campus closure, EOU students, employees and partners will be notified via e-mail, voice and text messages.
On campus students are automatically opted in. Online students must opt in manually.

Security Services
Security and emergency services provided at Eastern Oregon University help insure a safe and secure campus environment for students, faculty, 工作人员, and visitors. On campus security is responsible for:
- Response to life threatening incidents.
- Patrol of campus grounds, buildings and other EOU properties.
- Enforcement of parking codes and regulations.
- Facilitates emergency access to campus buildings.
- Enforces campus policies and regulations.
- Responds to reports of crimes occurring on campus property.
- Cooperative criminal investigations with local and state authorities
Crimes or criminal activity should immediately be reported to the Security Department.
